Description
An account of the resource

Skin health and aging are co-related with a complex biological process that are influenced by a combination of factors such as intrinsic (or endogenous) and extrinsic (or exogenous). Many skin based therapies including physical and chemical methods are in practice to rejuvenate the skin, but they might be related with some significant side-effects such as scarring. The aim of the present study was to evaluate the effect of Biofield Energy Treatment (Consciousness Energy Healing Treatment-The Trivedi Effect®) in the HFF-1 cell line (Human Foreskin Fibroblast) and DMEM (Dulbecco’s Modified Eagle Medium) for evaluation of skin health parameters such as proliferation rate and collagen level. The cell growth rate was evaluated at 24, 48, and 72 hours and the results observed with a significant growth in the Biofield Treated DMEM group compared with the Biofield Treated HFF-1 cells. The HFF-1 cellular proliferation rate was significantly (p≤0.001) increased by 85% in the Biofield Treated DMEM, while positive controls, ascorbic acid (10µM) and FBS (15% fetal bovine serum) reported with increased cell proliferation by 21% and 44%, respectively. Similarly, the collagen level was significantly (p≤0.01) increased in the Biofield Treated DMEM by 44.2%, while the Biofield Energy Treated cells did not showed significant change in collagen and proliferation rate as compared with control. Hence, the results concluded significant improved collagen and proliferation in the Biofield Energy Treated media (DMEM) for improving skin health. It can be concluded that The Trivedi Effect® might be a complementary and alternative approach with respect to the skin health, anti-aging in DMEM as compared with the HFF-1 cell line.

Description
An account of the resource

Poor bone health is the primary health issue, which leads to significant health problems, stress and worsening the patients' quality of life. The potential of The Trivedi Effect®- Biofield Energy Healing on vitamin D3 as a test item (TI) and DMEM on MG-63 cells was investigated. The test items were treated with The Trivedi Effect® by Mahendra Kumar Trivedi and divided as Biofield Energy Treated (BT) and untreated (UT) test items. An increase in ALP activity, collagen levels, and bone mineralization was considered as the biomarker for bone health. MTT data showed that the test samples observed nontoxic in the tested concentrations. The level of ALP was significantly increased by 832.9% and 209.4% in the UT-DMEM+BT-TI and BT-DMEM+UT-TI groups, respectively at 10 µg/mL, while 222.9% increase in the BT-DMEM+BT-TI at 1 µg/mL compared to the untreated group. Collagen was significantly increased by 487.7% and 544.5% in the BT-DMEM+UT-TI and BT-DMEM+BT-TI groups, respectively at 100 µg/mL, while 116.2% at 1 µg/mL in UT-DMEM+BT-TI compared to the untreated group. Moreover, the percent of bone mineralization was significantly increased in the UT-DMEM+BT-TI and BT-DMEM+UT-TI groups by 344.9% and 149.7%, respectively at 50 µg/mL, while 183.6% in the BT-DMEM+BT-TI group at 100 µg/mL compared to the untreated group. Thus, the role of Biofield Energy Treated vitamin D3 and DMEM in order to control osteoblast function and its direct effects on bone mineralization can be used to improve bone disorders.

Description
An account of the resource

Human dermal fibroblasts are defined for skin strength and resilience by continuously secreting extracellular matrix (ECM) components, which are responsible for promoting skin rejuvenation and remodeling. Precisely, the branched collagen fibrils provide the skin with its shape and firmness. The objective of the present study was to assess the potential of Biofield Energy Treatment (Consciousness Energy Healing Treatment-The Trivedi Effect®) in the HFF-1 cell line (Human Foreskin Fibroblast) and DMEM (Dulbecco's Modified Eagle Medium) for evaluation of skin health parameters such as proliferation rate and collagen level using in vitro model. An increase in cellular proliferation and collagen levels were considered as markers for skin health promoting effects. An aliquot of HFF-1 cells and DMEM were divided into two equal parts, one was treated with the Biofield Energy Treatment and denoted as treated test sample, while other part was coded as the untreated test sample. MTT assay was used to study the cellular proliferation and collagen level was estimated by collagen dye complex formation using Biotek Synergy HT microplate reader. The HFF-1 cellular proliferation rate was significantly increased by 85% in the Biofield Energy Treated DMEM as compared with Biofield Treated cells. Similarly, the collagen level was significantly (p≤0.01) increased by 44.2% in the Biofield Energy Treated DMEM as compared with control. Hence, the result suggests a significant improvement of collagen level in the Biofield Energy Treated media (DMEM) for improving skin health. It can be concluded that The Trivedi Effect® might be a complementary and alternative approach with respect to the skin health, anti-aging activities in HFF-1 cell line.

Description
An account of the resource
The study was aimed to evaluate the antioxidant and antiaging potential of Biofield Energy Healing Treatment (the Trivedi Effect®) on a novel test formulation in in vitro. The test formulation was divided into two parts. One part was denoted as the control, without any Biofield Treatment, while the other part was defined as the Biofield Energy Treated test formulation. MTT assay showed that the test formulation was observed as safe upto 100 μg/mL in both human foreskin fibroblasts-1 (HFF-1) and mouse preadipocytes (3T3-L1) cells. Moreover, the Biofield Treated test formulation showed 35.73% and 122.07% increased cellular protection (cell viability) at 25 and 50 μg/mL, respectively in H2O2 induced oxidative damage as compared to the untreated. Collagen was significantly increased by 16.81% and 30.22% in the Biofield Treated test formulation at 75 and 100 μL, respectively as compared to the untreated. Further, cellular senescence was significantly reduced by 66.35% and 22.5% in the Biofield Treated test formulation at 50 and 100 μg/mL, respectively compared to the untreated. Overall, data suggested that the Biofield Energy Treated test formulation can significantly improve antioxidative properties and would be use against antiaging, autoimmune and inflammatory diseases, stress management and prevention by improving overall health.

Bone formation, remodeling and healing processes involves a coordinated action of different cell types. Vitamin D and calcium significantly improves the patients' quality of life with respect to various bone disorders and comorbidities most prevalent in the elderly. The current study aimed to evaluate the potential of Consciousness Energy Healing based vitamin D3 and DMEM medium on bone health. Vitamin D3 and DMEM medium as test items (TI), were divided into two parts. One part of each sample received the Consciousness Energy Healing Treatment by Vicki Lynn Kindy and those samples were labeled as the Biofield Energy Treated (BT) samples, while the other parts of each sample were denoted as the untreated test items (UT). Bone health biomarkers such as alkaline phosphatase enzyme (ALP) activity, collagen levels and bone mineralization were evaluated. Cell viability using 3-(4, 5-diamethyl-2-thiazolyl)-2, 5-diphenyl-2H-tetrazolium) (MTT) data showed that the test items were found to be safe. ALP level was significantly increased by 621.2%, 638.9%, and 102.2% at 1, 10, and 50 µg/mL, respectively in UT-DMEM+BT-TI, as compared to the untreated group. Collagen content was significantly increased up to 284.6%, 134%, and 183.4% at 1, 10, and 50 µg/mL, respectively in the UT-DMEM+BT-TI group, while 109.6% and 159.6% increased collagen in BT-DMEM+UT-TI and BT-DMEM+BT-TI groups, respectively at 1 µg/mL as compared with the untreated group. Moreover, the percent of bone mineralization was significantly increased by 120% and 229.4% at 50 and 100 µg/mL, respectively in UT-DMEM+BT-TI group, while 254.7% and 78.1% in BT-DMEM+UT-TI and BT-DMEM+BT-TI groups, respectively at 10 µg/mL as compared with the untreated group. Thus, Biofield Energy Treated vitamin D3 and DMEM would play an important role to control the osteoblast function, improves bone mineralization, and calcium absorption in many bone disorders. Moreover, the bone health parameters such as collagen, calcium and ALP were significantly improved and can be used as supplement to improve bone health. Based on the outstanding results, it is assumed that the Biofield Energy Treated vitamin D3 could be a powerful alternative dietary sources and supplements to fight against various bone related diseases including low bone density and osteoporosis, osteogenesis imperfecta, Paget’s disease of bone, rickets, osteomalacia, bone and/or joint pain, increased frequency of fractures, deformed bones, osteoma, chondrodystrophia fetalis, hormonal imbalance, stress, aging, bone loss and fractures.

Bone disorders are largely associated with increased morbidity, mortality, and substantial economic and health costs. Vitamin D play an important role for calcium absorption and bone mineralization, which can improve the patients' quality of life. The current study aimed to evaluate the potential of The Trivedi Effect®- Biofield Energy Healing on vitamin D3 and DMEM as test item (TI) on bone cell differentiation using human osteoblast cell line (MG-63, Osteosarcoma). Bone health biomarkers such as alkaline phosphatase enzyme (ALP) activity, collagen levels and bone mineralization were evaluated. The test items were treated with The Trivedi Effect® by William Dean Plikerd and divided as Biofield Energy Treated (BT) and untreated (UT) test items. Cell viability using MTT data showed that the test items were found to be safe. ALP level was significantly increased by 346.4% (at 50 µg/mL), 375.3% (at 100 µg/mL), and 343.2% (at 100 µg/mL) in the UT-DMEM+BT-TI, BT-DMEM+UT-TI, and BT-DMEM+BT-TI groups, respectively as compared to the untreated group. Collagen content was significantly increased by 336.2% and 237.2% in the UT-DMEM+BT-TI at 10 and 50 µg/mL, respectively while 399.3% (10 µg/mL) and 200% (0.1 µg/mL) increased collagen in the BT-DMEM+UT-TI and BT-DMEM+BT-TI groups, respectively. Moreover, the percent of bone mineralization was significantly increased in UT-DMEM+BT-TI, BT-DMEM+UT-TI, and BT-DMEM+BT-TI groups by 416.9% (10 µg/mL), 460.7% (0.1 µg/mL), and 441.7% (10 µg/mL) respectively as compared with the untreated test item and DMEM group.
