Physicochemical, Thermal and Spectroscopic Characterization of the Energy of Consciousness Healing Treated Withania somnifera (Ashwagandha) Root Extract
Subject
The topic of the resource
Material Science
Description
An account of the resource
"Ashwagandha root extract is widely used in nutraceutical preparations due to its broad range of pharmacological activities.
The objective of this study was to analyse the impact of Biofield Energy Treatment (The Trivedi Effect®) on the physicochemical,
thermal and spectral properties of ashwagandha root extract by using various analytical techniques. The sample of
ashwagandha root extract was divided into two parts in which one part was kept untreated and called as control sample; while
the other part was provided with the Consciousness Energy Healing Treatment remotely by the Biofield Energy Healer, Mr.
Mahendra Kumar Trivedi and termed as Biofield Energy Treated sample. The study reported that the particle size values at d10,
d50, d90, and D (4,3) in the Biofield Energy Treated sample was significantly decreased by 9.23%, 9.04%, 11.86%, and 10.59%,
respectively compared with the control sample. Thus, the surface area of the treated sample was significantly increased by
10.75% compared to the control sample. The PXRD analysis showed that the control as well as the Biofield Energy Treated
samples was amorphous in nature. The DSC analysis showed that the onset evaporation temperature and latent heat of
vaporization were significantly altered by 2.18% and-10.29%, respectively in the Biofield Energy Treated sample compared
with the control sample. The TGA analysis indicated the four step thermal degradation of both the samples. The 1st, 2nd, 3rd,
and 4th steps of thermal degradation of the treated sample showed an alteration in the weight loss by -6.59%, 1.97%, -1.80%,
and -8.65%, respectively along with 0.81% reduction in the total weight loss, compared with the control sample. Besides, the
maximum thermal degradation temperature (Tmax) in the control sample was observed at 234.17°C and 365.12°C for the two
broad peaks, which was decreased by 1.73% and 0.82%, respectively compared to the control sample. The overall analysis
suggests that the Energy of Consciousness Healing Treatment might enhance the solubility, absorption, and bioavailability
profile of ashwagandha root extract along with altered thermal stability. Such altered properties might help in designing better
pharmaceutical and nutraceutical preparations; thereby provide better therapeutic response against various diseases such as
amnesia, arthritis, anxiety, cancer, impotence, neurodegenerative, and cardiovascular diseases."

Description
An account of the resource

Dysfunction of vital organs are the main concern for human health. Therefore, it is necessary to homeostat the normal function of vital organs such as lungs, liver, brain, and heart for better health. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of the Consciousness Energy Treated test formulation on the function of vital organs such as bones, heart, liver, lungs, and brain in various cell-based assays. The test formulation and the cell media was divided into two parts; one untreated (UT) and other part received the Biofield Energy Treatment remotely by a renowned Biofield Energy Healer, Jagdish Singh, USA and were labeled as the Biofield Energy Treated (BT) test formulation/media. Cell viability data suggested that the tested formulation was safe and non-toxic in nature in six different cells. The experimental groups like untreated medium (UT-Med) + Biofield Treated Test Item (BT-TI), BT-Med + UT-TI, and BT-Med + BT-TI showed 190.5%, 56.3%, and 73.8% restoration of cell viability at 1µg/mL in human cardiac fibroblasts cells (HCF) compared to the UT-Med + UT-TI group. Moreover, BT-Med + UT-TI and BT-Med + BT-TI groups showed 98.8% and 79.1% restoration of cell viability at 10µg/mL, respectively in human hepatoma cells (HepG2) compared to untreated. Furthermore, 261.7%, 165.8%, and 167.8% restoration of cell viability was observed in adenocarcinomic human alveolar basal epithelial cells (A549) by BT-Med + BT-TI group at 0.1, 1, and 10µg/mL, respectively compared to untreated. Alkaline phosphatase (ALP) level was significantly increased by 52.5% and 66.1% in the BT-Med + UT-TI group at 10 and 50µg/mL, respectively in human bone osteosarcoma cells (MG-63) compared to the untreated. Additionally, the level of ALP was significantly increased by101% and 170.6%in the BT-Med + UT-TI and BT-Med + BT-TI groups, respectively at 50µg/mL in human endometrial adenocarcinoma cells (Ishikawa) compared to the untreated. The percent protection of HCF (heart) cells (decreased of LDH activity) was significantly increased by 191.8% (at 0.01µg/mL) and 141.8% (10µg/mL)in the UT-Med + BT-TI and BT-Med + BT-TI groups, respectively compared to the untreated in HCF cells. The percent protection of HepG2 (liver) cells (decreased of ALT activity) was significantly increased by 88.1% (at 1µg/mL) and 44.9% (at 63µg/mL) in the BT-Med + UT-TI and UT-Med + BT-TI groups, respectively compared to untreated in HepG2 cells. The percent protection of A549 (lungs) cells (increased of SOD activity) was significantly increased by 19.6% and 13.6% in the BT-Med + UT-TI and BT-Med + BT-TI groups, respectively at 25µg/mL compared to untreated in A549 cells. Serotonin level was significantly increased by 475.6% (at 0.1µg/mL), 311.9% (at 1µg/mL), 400.5% (at 10µg/mL) and 250.9% (at 63µg/mL) in the BT-Med + BT-TI group compared to the untreated in human neuroblastoma cells (SH-SY5Y). The relative quantification (RQ) of vitamin D receptor (VDR) was significantly increased by 185% and 285.8% in the BT-Med + UT-TI and BT-Med + BT-TI groups, respectively at 10µg/mL compared to the untreated in MG-63 cells. Utterly, these results suggest that Biofield Energy Treated test formulation significantly improved the relevant bones, heart, liver, lungs, and brain-related functional enzyme biomarkers. Altogether data suggest that the Biofield Energy Treatment (The Trivedi Effect®) can be useful to protect and maintain the normal function of each vital organ such as lungs, liver, heart, brain, and bones. Therefore, The Trivedi Effect® can be used as a complementary and alternative therapy against several disorders such as coronary artery disease, heart attack, arrhythmias, heart failure, congenital heart disease, cardiomyopathy, cirrhosis, liver cancer, hemochromatosis, Wilson disease, pneumonia, asthma, emphysema, chronic bronchitis, cystic fibrosis, osteoporosis, etc.

Description
An account of the resource

Skin health and aging are the complex biological process influenced by several intrinsic (or endogenous) and extrinsic (or exogenous) factors. Various skin-based therapies are currently available to rejuvenate the skin, but they might be related with some side-effects such as scarring. The objective of the present study was to evaluate the effect of Consciousness Energy Healing Treatment (The Trivedi Effect®) on the human foreskin fibroblast (HFF-1) cell line and Dulbecco’s Modified Eagle Medium (DMEM) for skin health parameters like cell proliferation and synthesis of collagen. The rate of cellular proliferation in HFF-1 cells was identified, and the results found that the Biofield Energy Treated DMEM significantly (p ≤ 0.001) increased by 152.38% compared to the negative control group. Additionally, the cell proliferation was also significantly increased by 71.43% in the Biofield Energy Treated cells compared to the negative control group. Similarly, the collagen level was significantly (p ≤ 0.001) increased by 60.42% in the Biofield Energy Treated DMEM compared with the negative control group. Hence, the results exhibited a significant improvement of collagen synthesis and cellular proliferation in the Biofield Energy Treated DMEM for improving skin health. It can be concluded that The Trivedi Effect® - Consciousness Energy Healing Treatment might be a complementary and alternative approach with respect to the skin health, anti-aging in DMEM compared with the HFF-1 cell line. Therefore, the Biofield Energy Treated DMEM could be useful for the development of effective cosmetic products for the prevention and treatment of several skin problems such as erythema, contact dermatitis, skin aging, wrinkles, etc.

Description
An account of the resource

The objective of the present study was to evaluate the immunomodulatory effect of Biofield Energy Treatment (The Trivedi Effect®) on Dulbecco’s Modified Eagle’s Medium (DMEM) and fetal bovine serum (FBS) in murine macrophage cells (RAW 264.7). The study parameters were evaluated using cell viability by MTT assay and estimation of proinflammatory cytokine like tumor necrosis factor - alpha (TNF-α) on immunomodulation using enzyme linked immune sorbent assay (ELISA). The cell viability using MTT assay data showed that more than 80% cell viability was observed in all the tested groups compared to the baseline control group (G1). The characteristics of cell morphology in the Biofield Energy Treated DMEM without FBS (G6) group showed some changes in the cell morphology as evidenced a transition from spherical to elongate and also showed maturation compared to the G1 group. The level of TNF-α expression was significantly reduced by 23.15% in the G3 group compared to the G1 group. Moreover, the secretion of TNF-α was altered by 38.06%, 35.77%, and 282.49% in the G4, G5, and G6 groups, respectively compared to the G1 group. The overall results demonstrated that the Trivedi Effect® - Consciousness Energy Healing Treatment has an impact on DMEM and FBS by alteration of cell morphology and reducing the level of TNF-α expression in immune cell (RAW 264.7). Therefore, the Trivedi Effect® treated DMEM and FBS might be useful as an immunomodulator for various immune-related disorders like Graves’ disease, rheumatoid arthritis, multiple sclerosis, etc.
