Silver oxide possesses antimicrobial properties and also has numerous applications in space research, chemical, and pharmaceutical industries. It is not readily soluble in most of the solvents and highly sensitive to light. Thus, this study was executed to evaluate the impact of the Trivedi Effect®-Consciousness Energy Healing Treatment on the physicochemical and thermal properties of silver oxide using PSA, PXRD, and DSC analytical techniques. The test sample was divided into two parts: one part was control sample and the other part was treated sample. The control sample did not receive Biofield Energy Treatment; whereas the treated sample received the Biofield Energy Treatment remotely by a renowned Biofield Energy Healer, Gopal Nayak. The particle size values of the treated silver oxide powder were significantly decreased at d10, d50, d90, and D(4,3) by 9.507%, 4.957%, 3.463%, and 4.787% respectively, thus the specific surface area was significantly increased by 7.647% compared with the control sample. The peak intensities and crystallite sizes were significantly altered from -91.53% to 26.92% and -69.76% to 8.83%, respectively; however, the average crystallite size was significantly decreased by 35.62% in the treated sample compared with the control sample. The melting point and latent heat of fusion of the treated silver oxide were significantly increased by 2.47% and 538.57%, respectively compared with the control sample. The results suggested that the Biofield Energy Healing Treatment might have introduced a new polymorphic form of silver oxide which would show better solubility, dissolution rate, absorption, bioavailability, and thermal stability. The treated silver oxide would be more efficacious as a medicine in the body and also advantageous for the pharmaceutical, space, chemical, nuclear submarine, optoelectronic industry when using it as a raw material.
Silver oxide has many applications in the pharmaceuticals industry, but it is insoluble in many solvents and sensitive to light. The aim of this study was to evaluate the impact of the Trivedi Effect® on the physicochemical and thermal properties of silver oxide using modern analytical techniques. The silver oxide test sample was divided into two parts, one part of the test sample was considered as a control sample, whereas the other part received the Biofield Energy Treatment remotely by a renowned Biofield Energy Healer, Alice Branton and termed as a treated sample. The PXRD peak intensities and crystallite size were significantly altered ranging from -37.33 to 17.89% and -63.23% to 230.12%, respectively; however, the average crystallite size was significantly decreased by 18.13% in the treated silver oxide compared with the control sample. The particle size values were significantly decreased by 36.02%(d10), 26.15%(d50), 23.46%(d90), and 26.15%{D(4,3)}, respectively; therefore, the specific surface area was significantly increased by 61.94% in the treated sample compared with the control sample. The latent heat of fusion of the treated silver oxide was significantly decreased by 43.29% compared with the control sample. The total weight loss was increased in the treated sample by 8.13% compared with the control sample. The Trivedi Effect®-Consciousness Energy Healing Treatment introduced a new polymorphic form of silver oxide which may show better solubility, dissolution rate, absorption, and bioavailability of silver oxide in the pharmaceutical formulations and advantageous for the industry using it as a raw material.
Silver oxide (Ag2O) has the antimicrobial properties, which is insoluble in most of the solvents and sensitive to light. Therefore, this study was performed to evaluate the impact of the Trivedi Effect®-Consciousness Energy Healing Treatment on the physicochemical and thermal properties of Ag2O powder using modern analytical techniques. The Ag2O sample was divided into two parts, one part of the sample was considered as the control sample, whereas the other part of the sample received the Biofield Treatment remotely by a renowned Biofield Energy Healer, Dahryn Trivedi and termed as a treated sample. The particle size values were significantly decreased by 26.70% (d10), 20.67% (d50), 18.7% (d90), and 20.57% [D(4,3)], hence, the specific surface area was significantly increased by 32.33% in the treated Ag2O sample than control sample. PXRD peak intensities and crystallite sizes were significantly altered from -94.93% to 6.18% and -54.19% to 54.89%, respectively, however, the average crystallite size was significantly decreased by 14.66% in the treated sample compared with the control sample. The latent heat of fusion of the treated Ag2O was significantly decreased by 61.12% compared with the control sample. The total weight loss was significantly increased by 49.34%, hence, the residue amount was 4.05% less in the treated sample than the control sample. These results suggested that the Trivedi Effect® might introduce a new polymorphic form of Ag2O which would offer better solubility, absorption, and bioavailability of the pharmaceutical formulations and also be advantageous for the pharmaceutical industry when using it as a raw material.
Silver oxide has gained significant attention due to its antimicrobial activities. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the impact of biofield energy treatment on the physical and thermal properties of silver oxide (Ag2O). The silver oxide powder was divided into two parts, one part was kept as control and another part was received Mr. Trivedi’s biofield energy treatment. The control and treated samples were analyzed using X-ray diffraction (XRD), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), and Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy. The XRD diffractogram showed that the crystallite size of treated sample was significantly altered on the planes (200), (311), and (220) by 100, 150 and -25% respectively, with respect to control. The DSC result exhibited that the thermal energy required to decompose the silver oxide to silver and oxygen was altered from -12.47 to 71.58% in treated samples as compared to the control. TGA showed that the onset temperature of thermal degradation was reduced from 335°C (control) to 322.4°C. In addition, the rate of weight loss in treated sample was increased by 4.14% as compared to the control. Besides, the FT-IR did not show any alteration in absorption wavenumber of treated sample as compared to the control. Hence, the XRD, DSC and TGA data revealed that the biofield energy treatment has a significant impact on the physical and thermal properties of silver oxide powder. Therefore, the biofield energy treatment might improve the dissolution rate in formulation and bioavailability of treated silver oxide as compared to control.
